BIOGRAPHY: Axel Schönhofer is currently a Post-Doc fellow of Marshal Hedin at the San Diego State University to work on Opiliones biogeography and systematics. He studied in Mainz, Germany, were he also did his PhD with Jochen Martens on the European family Trogulidae. Main interest are the Dyspnoi for which he is subject editor for Zootaxa (+Eupnoi).
