Projeto AMMA - Expedition Tocantins 2007

<< volta para Arachnology <<volta para expeditions

The Arachno Lab visited the youngest state of Brazil, Tocantins, in June 2007, revealing a wealth of unknown arachnids and myriapods. Arachnology in this state is badly neglected, for example, there was only one species of the order Opiliones recorded. WWF ecoregions represented are NT0140 (Mato Grosso tropical dry forests), NT0150 (Paraná-Paraíba interior forests) and NT0704 (Cerrado).
